It is situated in Horton Plains National Park which has easy access from the other major townships in the central hills such as Bandarawela, Haputale and Hakgala. The Nearest Railway stations are Ohiya and Pattipola, on the Badulla Railway line.

Baker's Falls is a famous waterfall in Sri Lanka. The waterfall is formed on a tributary of the Belihul Oya (river). The height of the Baker's waterfalls is 20 metres (66 ft). The falls were named after Sir Samuel Baker, who was a famous explorer.
